A Snapshot of Axminster is being taken by the public on digital cameras to form an archive that will be handed down the generations.

The DVD on which the pictures will be placed is to be presented to the town and later sold for local charities in the run-up to Christmas.

The imaginative project is being organised by the Rotary Club of Axminster in conjunction with the Axminster Photography Group and supported by Midweek Herald.
