THE founder of a new community choir said he was "absolutely amazed" by the response.

Nearly 70 people turned up to the first session, held at Whitford Village Hall, on Friday, September 11.

Edward Jacobs (not Jacob Edwards, as we inadvertently called him in a piece a few weeks ago) said: "I was delighted with the diverse range of experiences of the people who turned up."

Anyone else wanting to join the group can contact Mr Edwards on (01297) 552935.
