AXE VALLEY Community College is planning a programme of adult community education.
The college wrote to businesses to ask what their training requirements are, and has put together a programme based on the responses.
Headteacher Martin Smith said: "By bringing relevant courses to the town and making available our college facilities, we hope that it will be easier for people to take up these training opportunities."
The college believes that adults not currently working, or working less than sixteen hours a week, would benefit from the programme.
