AXMINSTER Art Society enjoyed a lecture and demonstration on ‘Skies in Watercolour.’
Jake Winkle gave produced three different pictures and told the audience that his key themes in a painting are shape, colour and tone.
The Society’s next function will be on July 21, with its summer social, to which visitors are welcomed. There will be cream teas, an art quiz, a poster competition and a chance to see a member’s diploma winning coursework for the Society of Botanical Artists.
Another member will show their Appalachian dulcimer, a string instrument on a course.
