Cheques for £50 are presented to four worthy causes

AWARD wining Axminster butchers Complete Meats presented four more £50 community awards today.

The cheques went to the Axminster Hospital Charity Cup, a football tournament that raises money for the town’s hospital, the Tytherleigh Horse Show, which has been raising money for CLIC Sargent, St Andrew’s Primary School which needs new books and First Axminster Scout Group, which is starting to fund raise for its annual camp.

The cheques were presented by shop manager Paul Apsey who said: “I am very pleased that we can keep donating money in this way, there are so many worthy causes and so many people who freely give their time to run these charities and raise funds for them.”
