Axminster butchers Complete Meats has announced the latest local winners of its twice-yearly prize draw.
Collecting £50 cheques from shop manager Paul Apsey, at the firm’s South Street shop, were representatives from St Mary’s Catholic Primary School PTA, Axminster and District Choral Society, the Flamingo Pool and Dalwood Fair.
Similar cheque presentations will be made to local groups at the firm’s Honiton shop in September.
The biannual awards are part of the company’s commitment to supporting the local community.
