CAR parking in Axminster is unaffordable for residents, according to a town councillor.
CAR parking in Axminster is unaffordable for residents, according to a town councillor.
Cllr Sue Spiller said during the monthly meeting: "People live and work in Axminster who say they don't park in Axminster unless they have to because the charges are so high."
The remarks came following a report on a meeting with East Devon District Council about car parking.
Axminster was reported to make a �14,000 profit from parking in the town.
