Axminster collision victim named by police

Motorcyclist, 76, died in hospital.
A MOTORCYCLIST who was killed following an accident in Axminster has been named.
Derek Edward Davies died after he was involved in a single motorcycle collision on the B3261 at Axminster, close to the junction with the A35. The collision occurred on Friday, October 8, at approximately 5.30pm.
The 76-year-old was airlifted to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital where he later died in the early hours of Sunday morning as a result of medical complications following the collision.
