AN AXMINSTER company is supporting an environmental charity by providing a wood burning stove.

Arada Ltd, is supplying The Magdalen Project with the equipment for an outdoor field classroom so it can be used during the winter months.

David Adams, managing director at Arada, said: "We are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile cause.

"Educating young people on the environment and sustainability is paramount if we want to make changes for future generations. We are glad to be contributing to their future knowledge by providing a woodburning stove for the outdoor classroom."

The project is a residential centre with managed farmland and diverse natural habitats. It provides the basis for a wide range of courses, workshops and eco-adventures, encouraging children and adults to learn new skills.
