Deputy manager Kathy Mason said: "A lot of people took part and it was all very pink in the store - including balloons all round the store.

"People enjoyed the days and there was a brilliant atmosphere. We were very busy and it was really lovely. And it's important to raise awareness for breast cancer. Some people just wanted to make a donation because they thought it was for a good cause.

"Many people gave up their own free time to help, which was above and beyond expectations."

She said they would be collecting for Poppy Day next Thursday.
