MEMBERS of Phoebe Coombes' family and friends will be taking part in a sponsored walk for charity at the end of the month. Phoebe, two, was seriously ill with meningitis and experienced other complications, which started in mid-December.
MEMBERS of Phoebe Coombes' family and friends will be taking part in a sponsored walk for charity at the end of the month.Phoebe, two, was seriously ill with meningitis and experienced other complications, which started in mid-December.Now home again, her family want to help raise money for some of the organisations that helped through the months of treatment.Devon Air Ambulance and the Ronald McDonald Trust will benefit from the proceeds of the walk, which will be between Tick Tocks Nursery, in Axminster, and Tick Tocks, in Charmouth, a distance of about eight miles.Around 15 people are taking part in the walk, on Sunday, May 31.Anyone wishing to sponsor the group can call Phoebe's mum, Becky, on 07761 800750.
