Axminster firefighters called to 4x4 fire in Hawkchurch

The crew were called out on Thursday evening to a vehicle fire in Hawkchurch.

Firefighters in Axminster were called out to Hawkchurch after reports of a vehicle fire.

The crew was sent to a location between Woodhouse Cross and Scouse Cross last night, (Thursday) at 6.10pm to find a 4x4 vehicle ‘well alight’.

A fire spokesman said the car was 85 per cent damaged by fire after firefighters extinguished it using two breathing apparatus and hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera.
