Solicitors’ firm Beviss and Beckingsale donates 2,640 as a result of its wills campaign
A FIRM of Axminster solicitors has proved that where there’s a will - there’s a way to help local charities.
For the first three months of the year Beviss and Beckingsale donated half the money they got for helping people record their final wishes.
And today (Wednesday) their charity wills campaign resulted in a cheque for 2,640 being shared between five worthy causes – chosen by the firm’s clients.
These were Hospiscare, Axminster Care Service, Joseph Weld Hospice, HALFF and Offwell Woodland and Wildlife Trust.
Mark Carlisle, a partner in the firm, said: “We were delighted with the response to the campaign – it was a super result. Charitable donations have been hit hard by the recession and so these funds, I know, will be gratefully received.”
