Axminster group celebrates 75th anniversary
AXMINSTER St John Ambulance celebrated its 75th anniversary with a Barn Dance at the Guildhall.

Local group Long Odds and Short Straws performed and the event was well attended.
East Area Superintendent Simon Enticott presented certificates to Hayley Perham, Axminster Adult Divisional Superintendent, and the Adult division in recognition of their service.
He also presented Carol Enticott and the Badger Unit with a certificate to mark their 20th anniversary.
Miss Perham said: "On behalf of the Axminster division of St John Ambulance, I would particularly like to thank all those who supported us on the evening, including the caterers and the band.
"In addition, I would like to thank all the local businesses which donated raffle prizes or sponsored the event.
