Deputy matron Elaine Maxwell said the new hospital was thanks to �2 million raised by the League of Friends, with the carpet donated by Axminster Carpets. The hospital had been closed for about two years.
She said: "The theme is all hospital-based. I'm a patient, clearly, and we have got nurses , and a builder to represent Spillers builders.
