Club secretary Jenny West said: "Over the last two weeks we have been fund raising really hard - with shows, bingo, sponsored twirls and variety shows. Everything we earned, we fund raised for. "The uniforms cost about �4,000. I'm looking forward to seeing the girls in their uniforms."

She said; "I felt a bit old to carry on with the team, but came here to support the girls.
