AN AXMINSTER man has appeared in court accused of harassing a woman for several months.
AN AXMINSTER man has appeared in court accused of harassing a woman for several months.
Darren Nigel Barnes, 41, of Brunenburg Way, allegedly made unwanted phone calls and sent text messages to Sandra Holden, which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order.
Central Devon Magistrates’ Court imposed the restraining order on October 30, 2009. Barnes is alleged to have continued contact up until January this year.
His case has been adjourned until August 9. He has been released on bail on the condition he does not contact Ms Holden and that he resides at Brunenburg Way.
