A 25-year-old Axminster man has been arrested on suspicion of being in possession of drugs.

A 25-year-old Axminster man has been arrested on suspicion of being in possession of drugs.

Police allege the suspect had a wrap containing 14 tablets, which remain to be identified. The man was interviewed at Bridport station and given a bail order.

PC Richard Winward, from Lyme Regis safer neighbourhood team, said: "Tackling drug misuse is one of the Lyme Regis safer neighbourhood team's tactical plans, and we will arrest offenders at any opportunity.
