AN AXMINSTER man has been banned from driving for five years after he was caught driving more than twice the legal limit.
Robin Brinton, 36, of South Street, was also caught in possession of a Class B drug when police stopped him. He had 82mg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath.
Central Devon Magistrates Court ordered Brinton to be electronically tagged and have his licence endorsed. He was given a three month community order, which requires him to follow a curfew.
