Axminster men awarded for work in community

TWO Axminster men have been awarded for their community work in the town.

TWO Axminster men have been awarded for their community work in the town.

Daniel Murmane and Robert Wilson were presented with £100 cheques by the president of the Rotary Club of Axminster, Michael Garratt.

Daniel, who voluntarily coaches cricket to junior members and ladies at Cloakham Lawns Sports Centre, received the Bill Knapman award along with £100 for the Air Ambulance Service.

Robert took the Les Knight award for his work and received £100 for the Charabanc Group.

Mr Garratt congratulated both men on their achievements and hoped they would keep up their good work.
