Axminster officers deal with 39 crimes

Police officers dealt with 39 recorded offences in Axminster during August.

These included three assaults occasioning actual bodily harm, six common assaults, a robbery, nine thefts and two burglaries.

They also dealt with a person for possession of a knife in a public place.

Two people were charged with drink-driving offences.
