Witnesses sought to help solve three local crimes
Police at Axminster are appealing for help to solve three local crimes.
The first involves the theft of parts from a blue Citroen Saxo which had been left overnight at the town’s Poplar Mount Car Park.
Between 11.30pm, on Friday May 31, and 7am the next morning the vehicle was subjected to substantial damage caused to gain entry and had a number of parts stolen including the bonnet, valence grill and lights and front number plate.
Anyone with information about the offence - or who has been offered car parts that may have come from the vehicle – is asked to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference KA/13/291.
* The second offence happened between 11.30pm on Thursday, May 30, and 8 am the next day when someone entered a marquee at Dalwood, being used by a local resident who was celebrating a family occasion, and took drinks which they opened and threw around.
They also caused damage to lampshades in the marquee.
Anyone with information regarding this offence or who knows who the offender or offenders were is asked to contact police on 101 and quote reference KA/13/290.
* And some time between 10pm on Thursday, May 30, and 6am the next day a secure shed at a property in Membury was broken into.
A Makita drill, valued at around £300, was stolen and damage caused to the shed valued at around £300. Again anyone who may have seen or heard something is asked to contact police on 101 quoting KA/13/289.
