St Mary’s Church is packed to welcome new Minster
AXMINSTER’S new Rector officially took up his duties today (Tuesday)
The Rev John Streeting was licensed by the Bishop of Exeter in a ceremony at the Minster Church on Monday night.
St Mary’s was packed for the service, which involved a combined choir from local churches.
Mr Streeting is the former Vicar of Sheerness and Queenborough in Kent and was appointed to succeed the Rev John Good.

He and his wife Elizabeth have spent the past few weeks moving into their new home at The Rectory.
