The group’s chairman, Shane Morgan, said: “This is a great opportunity for traders, retailers, offices, inns and restaurants to put their hanging baskets out to brighten up Axminster with an opportunity to win the Rotary Cup.”

A spokesman for the Axminster Rotary Club said: “We hope the trading community will take this opportunity to brighten up the town for locals and visitors alike.”
