Biggles musical raises 1,700 for Hospiscare’s vital work
HOSPISCARE has been given a 1,700 lift thanks to an Axminster rock musical starring a fictional flying hero.
Written by local musician Steve Black, “Biggles Flies Undone” was presented at The Guildhall over three days last month.
Now organisers have presented the profits to the charity which provides care and support for the terminally ill.
Jane Bostsock, of the fund raising One Night Only team, said: “We would like to thank everyone who took part in this fantastic musical to raise such a great sum for Hospiscare. We were delighted to be able to present them with this cheque just before Christmas.”
