A DVD pictorial archive is being formed from 700 pictures of Axminster taken by the public on 09.09.09.
The DVD called Snapshot of Axminster will also contain scores of historic pictures of the town from local collections.
The first copy will be presented to the town's mayor and 200 more will be sold from mid-November to help local charities. They are sure to become collectors' items.
Organisers of the project, supported by the Midweek Herald, are the Rotary Club of Axminster in conjunction with the Axminster Photographic Group.
