Organisers present a cheque for £500 to Force

Members of the Axminster Community Street Party Committee gathered on the Minster Green last week to present some of the money raised to a cancer charity.

The £500 donation was handed to local riders who took part in The Long Way Down Cycle Challenge from Scotland to Land’s End in aid of Force. The cheque was presented by Jill Vanderwolfe, organiser of the street party, which was held in June to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.
