Axminster Tesco shoppers help keep the lifeboats afloat

More than £350 is collected for the RNLI during a fundraising weekend

A weekend of fundraising at Tesco’s store in Axminster resulted in donations of £358.75 for the lifeboat charity, the RNLI.

The weekend was organised by the supermarket’s designated community champion Rob Cope.

A total of 27 Tesco stores, mainly throughout Somerset and Devon, took part in the weekend and the combined donations are expected to total more than £10,000.
