AXMOUTH Pre-School children enjoyed a day of sports last week.

Children, aged two to five, took part in a range of activities, from assault courses, to running, to relay. The parents later joined in with a game of tug-of-war.

Paul Salter, from the pre-school, said: “The day went brilliant and everyone had a great time.”

Children and staff have thanked the Seaton and District Lions Club for the outdoor venture trolley, which was presented to them by past District Governor John Cook.

The pre-school also held a table top sale in the town hall, which raised £200.

• Free places are available for children to attend pre-school. For more information, call Susan Salter on (01297) 20948.
