AXMOUTH WI passed a resolution in favour of badger culling at its spring council meeting.
AXMOUTH WI passed a resolution in favour of badger culling at its spring council meeting.
The move comes after the Devon Federation of Women's Institutes announced its campaign for the humane culling of infected badgers earlier in the month.
A great proportion of the badger population in parts of the UK, particularly in the South West, suffers from bovine TB.
The Axmouth group also learned about the Dog's Trust at its meeting, thanks to a talk from a member of the UK's largest dog's charity.
