Firelighters force window to free six month old infant from vehicle

A six month old baby had to be freed from a car on Friday morning (September 2) after being accidentally locked in.

The vehicle’s owner call Axminster firelighters after being unable to get back into the vehicle which was stopped in Shute Road, Kilmington, with the infant inside.

On arrival crews found the baby in the rear of the car and gained access through the rear windscreen. The child was released uninjured..
