PC MARK Carnall has recently returned to Axminster to work as a Neighbourhood Beat Manager.

PC MARK Carnall has recently returned to Axminster to work as a Neighbourhood Beat Manager.PC Carnall, who has been a police officer for 16 years, previously worked at the station from 2001 to 2003.He is one of 200 officers to be put back on the front line in a strategy to strengthen the force.He said: "I was given the choice of where I wanted to go and I asked to come here. I'm enjoying it so far."PC Carnall will be covering the Axminster rural beat and is looking forward to reacquainting himself with the community.He said: "I like the variety of the job. I come into work and there's always something different to do. "I like working as Neighbourhood Beat Manager because I like working in the community and I think it's an important part of local policing.
