Fossil hunters manage to free two people before Coastguards arrive.
Lyme Regis Coastguard rescue officers were scrambled following a 999 call from a member of the public reporting two people stuck in the mud at Charmouth yesterday (Sunday).
The pair was freed by local fossil hunters as the Coastguard officers arrived on scene at around 1.2.10pm
No one was reported injured.
