Beverly’s birthday wish supports Seaton Memory Café

PUBLISHED: 11:00 26 February 2016

Seaton Memory Café has received a financial boost, thanks to the generosity of a woman on her birthday.

Beverly Giles said she did not want any presents on her big day, instead asking her family and friends to make a donation to the café. In all, £194 was donated, to the grateful thanks for the organisation.

A spokesman for Seaton Memory Café thanked Mrs Giles for her generosity, adding that the money raised was ‘very much appreciated’.

The cash will be put towards a nostalgic trip out.

Seaton Memory Café meets on the first Monday of each month at Seaton Methodist Church, from 2pm to 4pm.
