AN open day to mark the start of the 2009 season at Allhallows Museum, Honiton, attracted a bumper turnout of local residents.More than 300 adults and 68 children took advantage of the free admission day on Saturday, April 11.Every child took part in a quiz - and they each received a free goody bag.Museum curator Margaret Lewis was delighted with the response."It went really well," she said."It was a really nice day and fantastic to see local people in here."The museum, which boasts all new displays, is open Monday to Friday (including Bank Holidays) from 9.30am to 3.30pm.On Saturdays, the museum is open from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
