Axminster mayor gets the lowdown on his high pressure lifestyle

Axminster mayor Andrew Moulding briefly took his ‘finger off the pulse’ on Thursday – so a nurse could check his.

He was amongst 124 people who went along to The Minster to have a free blood pressure check.

The event was organised by Axminster Rotary Club in conjunction with the local St John Ambulance team and the Stroke Association.

Officials said it was very successful day.
