A HONITON teenager collected a major award – on his 17th birthday.
Donovan Spencer, who works at The Victoria Hotel, in Sidmouth, was named Professional Cookery Student of the Year during Exeter College’s Hospitality, Hair and Beauty Awards.
He was accompanied at the awards ceremony by David Gardiner, The Victoria Hotel’s head chef.
