THE BODY of a man believed to be in his 70s has been found in the sea in Lyme Regis.

The RNLI lifeboat crew recovered the body from Pokers Pool, just outside the Cobb, which forms the harbour in the town. The man was though to be local.

Eye witnesses called emergency services at 7.40am on Thursday.
