Check before you give in Honiton.

A Honiton resident believes she was targeted by a bogus charity collector today (Tuesday).

A man delivered a charity sack to her home, but checks revealed that particular charity had nobody working in Honiton that day.

And the man did not match the description of the charity’s usual door-to-door worker.

Sacks delivered off Battishorne Way are due for collection on Friday and residents are urged to check with charities named on the bags before parting with goods.
