Seaton Town Crier greets contest officals with a specially written shout

South West in Bloom Competition judges got a rousing welcome when they came to Seaton to mark the town’s entries this week.

They were greeted at Windsor Gardens by local councillors and the town crier David Craner, who devised a special shout for the occasion.

Photographer Ian Barradale was also there to record the visit which residents hope will result in a trophy for the resort’s floral efforts.
