THE Boundary Committee deadline to present proposals for the future of local government in Devon to the secretary of state has been waived.
Today, July 15, was the set deadline for final draft proposals to be submitted to central government.
Following a court ruling on proposals for Suffolk last week, the Boundary Committee has been given more time.
It is understood a further period of consultation will take place in East Devon.
A date for the new deadline has yet to be set.
