Bouquets for retiring WI officials in Colyton

Bouquets were presented to retiring members of Colyton WI committee at the organisation’s recent annual general meeting.

The recipients were outgoing president Jean Hutton, Sallie Herniman, Elizabeth Cochran and Joan McDougall, who were thanked for their many years of devoted service.

There was also a bouquet and a special thank-you for Jacky Roberts Wake, who had organised the Edwardian Tea Party to celebrate the WI’s 100th anniversary.

Shelia Derwent was elected president with Sallie Herniman as her deputy.

Serving on the new committee will be Margaret Barker, Brenda Clark, Sallie Herniman, Liz Lucas, Penny Cogan, Jean Hutton, Sheila Derwent and Francine Coultas.
