A 10-year-old Honiton boy is appealing to a thief to return his distinctive skateboard.
Shay Crewe left the Voltage skateboard propped up against a wall outside Iceland, in Lace Walk, while on a shopping trip.
He forgot to collect it when he left the shop and only realised his oversight the next day.
When he returned to find the skateboard, it had gone.
His mum, Alison Busby, is appealing to whoever has got it to give it back.
Alternatively, if the skateboard has been dumped, Mrs Busby is asking people to look out for it.
"It is very distinctive," she told the Midweek Herald. "It has bright neon wheels, one each in blue, green, pink and orange.
"Shay didn't realise he had left his skateboard behind and is now absolutely gutted."
Mrs Busby was prompted to contact this newspaper following our recent successful appeal for the return of two ride-on tractors from a garden at Highfield.
The toys were returned within hours of the Midweek Herald's story being published.
