Member of the public rescues youngster caught up in strong currents
COASTGUARDS were scrambled after reports of a young boy being swept out to sea off Charmouth at around 3.30pm yesterday (Tuesday).
The youngster, who had been caught up in strong currents, was assisted to shore by a member of the public before the rescue team arrived.
The coastguards located the family on the beach and offered safety advice.
