A newly formed boyband got students’ pulses racing in Honiton.
Projekt Weekend performed some of their tracks to students at Honiton Community College and gave a talk on drugs awareness.
The visit was part of the college’s key stage three life skills lessons on personal wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.
The band are currently on tour in Devon and Cornwall and have received training by anti-drugs charity DARE to deliver talks to schools and colleges throughout the country.

Teacher Denize Creed, who helps run the station at Radio HCC, said: “The students are always looking for interesting content to feature in their morning broadcasts and to have an impromptu visit from Projekt Weekend was a great opportunity for the students to practise their interview and production techniques.
“I was very proud of Lisa and Lamara and the way they put together a really slick interview in a short period of time, and Matt Jackson and Coral Cheshire, with their technical support, really impressed me with their professionalism.
“We’d like to thank Projekt Weekend for their time as it really was great experience for Radio HCC to have an opportunity to work as if experiencing the demands of a live radio broadcast.”
