A HONITON man appeared in court today (Tuesday) on six charges, including possession of illegal drugs.

Nathan Aaron Rendell, 21, had his case adjourned until early next month and was granted unconditional bail by Central Devon Magistrates' Court.

Rendell, of Whitebridges, is accused of being in possession of cannabis and class A drug Fluoroamphetamine on September 23, in Honiton High Street.

But his defence solicitor, Helen Wallace, is disputing three driving charges.

Rendell is currently charged with driving without due care and attention and causing damage to another vehicle in Marlpits Hill on the same date. He is also accused of failing to stop for police and failing to give his name and address.

He is expected to enter a plea on January 4 next year.
