A 41-year-old man from London appeared in court yesterday (Tuesday) charged with 21 sexual offences, allegedly committed in Honiton.
A 41-year-old man from London appeared in court yesterday (Tuesday) charged with 21 sexual offences, allegedly committed in Honiton.
Brian Anthony Campbell closed his eyes and shook his head as the charges were read out at Central Devon Magistrates' Court.
The charges, including alleged rape, indecent assault and inciting a minor to engage in sexual activity, relate to a period between 2003 and 2008 and involve one alleged victim.
No pleas were entered and Campbell was remanded on conditional bail to appear at Exeter Crown Court on December 1.
