POLICE have cordoned off the lower part of Honiton High Street as hundreds of mourners take part in a funeral march to the Church of the Holy Family, in Exeter Road.

2pm: POLICE have cordoned off the lower part of Honiton High Street as hundreds of mourners take part in a funeral march to the Church of the Holy Family, in Exeter Road.

The mourners are walking behind the coffin of Hawkwind keyboard player Jason Stuart, 39, who died on September 8.

The road will re-open at around 2.30pm.

In the meantime, traffic is being diverted along Dowell Street.
