A MAN has been arrested and a woman is being searched by police following a pursuit in Honiton.
The action is unfolding in Lace Walk car park, outside the Midweek Herald office window.
Herald editor Belinda Bennett was alerted by a commotion just inches from her computer monitor.
A police van and patrol car have been at the scene and a search is being conducted of the immediate area.
As the man was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police van, he shouted to the girl: "I love you, Babe."
An ambulance has just arrived at the scene.
