BUTTONS donated to Hospiscare through the Herald over the past year have raised £250 for the charity.

BUTTONS donated to Hospiscare through the Herald over the past year have raised £250 for the charity.One of the buttons, an unusual Chinese porcelain variety with hand-painted detail, recently fetched £20 at a specialist event.Bridget Hallowes, of Offwell, has amassed a huge collection of buttons as a result of the campaign, but is still keen to receive more."I'd like to thank everyone for their donations," she said. "We have already raised £250 and more buttons would be appreciated."Buttons can be left at the Herald's Honiton office.
